Welcome! This year I teach Math and Literacy. I have a lot of experience and can't wait to help you learn this year. For each of my classes, I will be working with another teacher. The 4th, 5th, and 6th grade teams are great and you will be in great hands.
Some things about me:
I am married. I love animals. I have two dogs named Coral and Charlie Mae. I love to cook and bake. I care very much about the environment and helping to create a healthy planet for the coming generations. I went to school for a LONG time. In fact, I liked school so much, that I decided to be a teacher so that I could always be involved in schools and helping students to learn.
I am very excited to get to know you and help guide you through your year of learning. To my 4th graders, welcome to the building! You will be learning a lot as you get used to your new school. Please let me know if there is anything you need help with!
My 5th grade crew, you are becoming seasoned Knollwood students. You know all about our school at this point and our Knollwood community. For your second year in our school, we are taking a step forward and preparing for middle school next year. There is a lot to learn and a lot of fun to have working together!
For my incoming 6th graders. this is a very rewarding year where you will transition into a more independent learning style. You will be switching classes and organizing your responsibilities. I am here to help and not only teach you what you need to know for math, but also to help you stay organized and on task. Feel free to approach me about Science and Social Studies this year, because I know a lot about both!
Although I will be teaching in multiple classrooms this year, you will be able to access any class you have with me, through this website. Some links will forward you to Google Classroom for individual courses.
